Back in the day, when I was but a mere youth I was rather heavily into the artwork of Roger Dean. Back then I found his images fascinating, the wealth and breadth of his visions, creating worlds that seamingly had on place in our own. As I get older and have become more traveled I find myself coming across places that have a distinctly ”Roger Dean” look to them.

The images above were taken recently on what is known as the Jurassic coast, just east of  Weymouth. I’m not sure weather I see images like this because I look for the Roger Dean in everything or because they just happen to be there. Its a chicken and egg situation.

If a tree falls in a forest with no one to hear it, does it make a sound?

If the butterfly flaps its wings in Brasil does a orphan boy steal a loaf of bread in West Bromwich?

All the above images are from Woolacombe in North Devon the top two where taken in October 2007 and the bottom one was taken on Tuesday August 28th 2009.
Still as long as the sun is shining in your heart ….
